This autumn the largest machine-tool factory will begin to work in Ulyanovsk Oblast

Upon the information of the regional government, on 29 September 2015 the machine-tool factory DMG-Mori Seiki will begin to work.

The factory is located in the industrial area “Zavolzhye”. The construction started in 2012 and since then more than 70 million Euro were invested. Today all construction activities are nearly over. The factory will work at full capacity only in 2017. The factory will give employment to more than 250 locals. By the way, in May the 17th Engineer Passage in the industrial area “Zavolzhye” was renamed into DMG-Mori Street. According to Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation, the street represents a new machine-tool cluster of Ulyanovsk Region.

In the industrial area “Zavolzhye” there are many other factories, some of them will also begin to work this year. For example, there is a logistic company “Bati Sherna”, an automobile parts factory “Nemak”, a plastic packaging manufacture “Jokey Plastic” and the first in Russia varnish-and-paint factory “Hempel”.
