At the round table meeting of regional leaders PFD and upper, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River of China, a delegation of the Samara region presented 10 investment projects.
The representatives of business community of the Samara region held a series of meetings with Chinese companies in transport, logistics, automotive, banking, telecommunications and tourism spheres. The achieved agreements will help to expand the trade-economic, investment, scientific and technological cooperation with China.
The Samara region and China have strong long-term connections. At the moment the Samara region successfully collaborate with one of the biggest Chinese state-owned transnational construction companies “Gezhouba”. As the Minister of Economic Development, Investments and Trade of the Samara region Alexander Kobenko told, foreign partners intend to invest in road, bridge and tunnel construction in the form of public-private partnership. At a recent meeting in Samara Chinese partners were informed of the Samara region economic possibilities, large infrastructure projects, industrial parks development prospects and planned objects for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. They were also told about the government support of investment activities in the Samara region.
