This summer an advertising campaign promoting Russia as a tourist destination was held in South Korea. A series of commercials of an advertising campaign called "Club of travelers. Russia" was broadcast on the Korean TV stations MBC, KBS, SBS, Channel A, JTBC, TV Chosun within four months, from 19 May to early September.

This summer an advertising campaign promoting Russia as a tourist destination was held in South Korea. A series of commercials of an advertising campaign called "Club of travelers. Russia" was broadcast on the Korean TV stations MBC, KBS, SBS, Channel A, JTBC, TV Chosun within four months, from 19 May to early September. 14 commercials presented Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, views of Lake Baikal and trip along Trans-Siberian way.

The campaign was organized by the largest South Korean airline company Korean Air and was conducted on television, radio and the Internet. The company also used outdoor advertising, advertising in theaters and in public transport. For the campaign Korean Air prepared a special website, where Korean travelers can learn about Russian culture, tourist routs and sights.

The budget of the campaign is not disclosed, but "Club of travelers. Russia" became one of the biggest investments of Korean Air in promotion of the tourist destination over the past few years. The theme of campaign is a trip of four friends around Russia. In 2008 and 2013, Seo Yang-soo, Jeong Jun-oh, Choi Jin-taek и Seol Young-hyeong made several trips to Russia and wrote a popular book “Russia Travellers' Club”.
