Polish Rovese to build ˆ100-million plant in Titanium Valley

The plant will produce ceramic tiles from domestic raw materials. Polish company Rovese, the sixth world’s largest producer of ceramic tiles, will invest about ˆ100 million in construction of a plant in special economic zone “Titanium Valley” in Sverdlovsk region.



Polish Rovese to build €100-million plant in Titanium Valley


The plant will produce ceramic tiles from domestic raw materials. Polish company Rovese, the sixth world’s largest producer of ceramic tiles, will invest about €100 million in construction of a plant in special economic zone “Titanium Valley” in Sverdlovsk region. The construction will create 450 working positions.


Besides that, the company producing cutting tools for titanium alloys processing prepares a financial economic model and business plan of Russian-Canadian joint project. In 2017, they plan to launch the first stage of the production of unique cutters that will allow reducing production costs in aircraft industry.


At the moment the management of “Titanium Valley” negotiates with more than 10 companies in different fields of expertise. Today the special economic zone has seven residents. Since 2011, 1.792 billion rubles have been allocated to fund “Titanium valley” from the budget of Sverdlovsk region, and 814 million rubles – from the federal budget.
