Lely will equip a giant farm in Nizhny Novgorod
The project of a large robotic farm was launched in Nizhny Novgorod region in collaboration with Dutch Lely. At the international business-meeting, Valery Shantcev, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, and the representative of LLC “Vozrozhdenie” signed a farming robotization program.
Dutch company Lely provides the agricultural segment with a full package of products and services from feeding crop procurement complexes to milking robots. The company also develops a milk branch by designing energetically neutral technologies.
The plan is to complete the construction of the XL-format farm for 13500 cattle, fully equipped with Lely robotic equipment, in the first quarter of 2016.
The association of Dutch farmers with an extensive experience in Lely robotic technologies decided to continue the expansion into Russia, specifically into Nizhny Novgorod region. “Vozrozhdenie” will support the distribution of joint-produced materials in agricultural enterprises of the region.
