Construction company PSJ from Czech Republic completed the construction of a large shopping mall “Nebo” in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. The construction at a cost of 2.8 billion rubles (about 1.03 billion Czech crowns) took two years. This is one of the biggest projects of PSJ over the last 25 years.

Construction company PSJ from Czech Republic completed the construction of a large shopping mall “Nebo” in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. The construction at a cost of 2.8 billion rubles (about 1.03 billion Czech crowns) took two years. This is one of the biggest projects of PSJ over the last 25 years.

Nizhny Novgorod has a population of about 1.3 million. Multifunctional complex “Nebo” with a floor area of 140 thousand square meters is located in the center of the city. Aside from stores and restaurants, the complex includes sports ground, big recreation center, eight movie halls and two-level underground car park. The investors of the project are Electronica Plus Company, which owns several Russian shopping malls, and Marins Group, which operates a hotel network in Russia.

PSJ was established in 1990 and today is the largest construction company in Central Europe. PSJ Group includes five subsidiary construction companies and three companies involved in unrelated business activities. In 2014, the consolidated revenue of the company totaled 8.41 billion crowns. In April 2015, PSJ completed another big Russian project – the construction of a printboard plant in Dubna.
