IHC Merwede and PJSC "Export-processing zone "Lotos" (Astrakhan) signed a project implementation agreement on manufacturing of dredging vessels.
The agreement was signed at the Europort exhibition for maritime technology which took place November 3-6, 2015 in Rotterdam (the Netherlands).
IHC Merwede will immediately (upon completion of Russian market dredging operations survey and after obtaining EPZ-resident status) proceed with manufacturing of modern vessels and spare parts in cooperation with shipbuilding yard "Lotos", located inside the export-processing zone.
