Shunwei Capital will invest into online-aggregator established in Russia. ToBox site collects sales offers of various goods placed in social networks, Russian showrooms and shops of hand-made goods.


Chinese venture fund Shunwei Capital invests into a trade online site ToBox, which starts to operate in Russia in December 2015 . Here we talk about USD 50 million, which to be invested in 2016.


Raised funds will be spent on advertisement, expansion of the Russian team and improvement of technologies. In the future ToBox intends to open businesses in other countries actively using electronic commerce: in India, Brazil and Australia.


It will be a second round of investments into the project existing from the beginning of 2015. Initially Shunwei invested into ToBox in September 2015 ã. Shunwei will also participate in further rounds of funding.


Until now Shunwei structures made no investments into Russian projects. But Russian market of internet trade “has a vast growth potential” and ToBox is “a unique project” with a good team - explained Shunwei Vice-President Li Wei.
