Horsh Maschinen GmbH, a manufacturer producing sowing and groundcare machinery, plans to start the construction of one more shop in Chapluiginskaya Special Economic Zone in the Lipetsk Region. Since 2010, the company has invested around EUR 15 million in its sites hosted by the Lipetsk Region.
The new RUB 500 million project was presented by Michael Horsh, the owner of Horsh Maschinen GmbH, in August 2015. Another production shop featuring 50 to 70% production localization will enable LLC Horsh Rus to ensure a RUB 3 billion worth of output annually.
Similar plans for the Lipetsk Region are being hatched by German ROPA Fahrzeug-und Maschinenbau GmbH and production expansion in the Lipetsk Region is likely to start in 2017.
LLC Horsh Rus and LLC Ropa Rus are subsidiaries of German HORSCH and ROPA, respectively. They manufacture agricultural machinery in Chapluiginskaya production and industrial type special economic zone. The companies' aggregate turnover in 2015 totaled RUB 2.5 billion.
