Israel ready to boost cooperation in agriculture and healthcare with Moscow vicinities

Israel plans to enhance cooperation with the Moscow Region in agriculture and healthcare and also intends to make efforts to develop tourism, as reported by Zvi Heifetz, Israel's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia.

Israel plans to enhance cooperation with the Moscow Region in agriculture and healthcare and also intends to make efforts to develop tourism, as reported by Zvi Heifetz, Israel's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia.

The Moscow Region's Governor Andrei Vorobiyev and representatives of the Moscow Region's Government have held a meeting with Mr. Heifetz in Krasnogorsk, a Moscow satellite town.

"This meeting was very pleasant to me. I was well and warmly welcomed by Mr. Vorobiyev. It has been a long time since relations between Israel and the Moscow Region have started. Today, we go on our cooperation. We especially plan to boost it in agriculture and healthcare", Mr. Heifetz said.

He clarified that Israel was doing its best to enhance relations with the Moscow Region and Russia in general in tourism.

"Russian tourists are treated in our country as very honorable guests. Of course, there was a definite turn-down last year. But it was the case everywhere. Lots of agreements were executed with tour operators as we try to both help tour operators and reduce prices in Israel to make them competitive, to ensure that guests from Russia can have a good rest", Mr. Heifetz said.
