China has taken interest in the implementation of joint investment projects in Bashkiria. The Republic's Ministry of Agriculture has summarized the results of the two regions' collaboration. Their joint investment projects include the assembling of agricultural machinery, processing of agricultural raw materials and food production.
For instance, Jhut and Chinese Yanbian Kangrun Economic & Trade Co. Ltd have executed an agreement to construct and supply equipment for a sugar-beet processing plant in the Buzdiaksky District.
Ilishraps will construct an oil plants processing facility in the Blagovarsky District jointly with Zhangzhou. A site has already been found and appropriate documents have already been formalized to erect the facility.
Several joint projects are being implemented in Bashkiria involving Jiangxi Zhifang Numerical Power Co., Ltd (LLC Zhifang, PRC). The first of them is to arrange the manufacturing of agricultural tractors by Chinese YTO based on Bashselkhoztekhnika. Another project provides for the joint production of herbicides based on Bashplodorodia. Yet another project anticipates the development, production and sale of veterinary preparations, fodder additives and feeds for honey bees, beekeeping supplies in Bashkiria and sale of Bashkir honey and other bee-farming products, health-promoting food and cosmetic products featuring China’s beekeeping produce.
