The Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation has hold a working meeting between Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs Odes Baysultanov and General Honorary Consul to the Italian Republic in the South Federal District and North Caucasus Federal District Pierpaolo Lodigiani.

The Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation has hold a working meeting between Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs Odes Baysultanov and General Honorary Consul to the Italian Republic in the South Federal District and North Caucasus Federal District Pierpaolo Lodigiani.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed potential cooperation between Italian companies and companies operating in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) with JSC North Caucasus Development Corporation in the first place.
As was emphasized during the negotiations held by Minster of North Caucasus Affairs Lev Kuznetsov and Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Italian Republic in the Russian Federation Cesare Maria Ragaglini, Italian companies are ready for cooperation to develop projects in the North Caucasus in such fields as healthcare, agroindustrial complex and power energy.
Based on the results of the discussion, Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs Odes Baysultanov noted: "Our Italian partners have shortlisted quite a few medical companies that are ready to make efforts to develop the medical cluster in North Caucasus as manufacturers, suppliers and investors. The appropriate groups of companies have been created to implement projects relating to the agroindustrial and power industries. For our part, we are ready to provide all necessary support to ensure that really effective projects, being favorable for the North Caucasus Federal District, are turned into reality."
In his turn, General Honorary Consul to the Italian Republic in the South Federal District and North Caucasus Federal District Pierpaolo Lodigiani emphasized that North Caucasus is interesting for Italian companies thanks to its high natural and HR potential, as reported by the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs' Press Office.
The parties have agreed to continue a detailed discussion of the Italian party's initiatives with the participation of Russian and Italian enterprises that are interested in establishing mutually fruitful cooperation in a short time.
