A Japanese company intending to build a hotel in the Khabarovsk Airport

Toyoko Inn, a major Japanese hotel chain, has executed a memorandum with OJSC Khabarovsk Airport to jointly implement a project to construct a hotel and business facility in the Khabarovsk Airport, according to a press release published by the Khabarovsk Territory Government.

Toyoko Inn, a major Japanese hotel chain, has executed a memorandum with OJSC Khabarovsk Airport to jointly implement a project to construct a hotel and business facility in the Khabarovsk Airport, according to a press release published by the Khabarovsk Territory Government.


The memorandum was executed during the "Trade and Industrial Dialogue Russia–Japan" forum that took place in Tokyo. The parties have agreed to approve all key matters in relation to the project and cooperation format shortly to embark on the construction of the business hotel in late 2016 or early 2017.


The hotel is going to be constructed in the commercial area of the third passenger terminal being currently designed. The commercial space is going to be expanded using the airport's adjacent area. Apart from the hotel, an expo, trade and entertainment facilities will be constructed as well.
