A project aimed to upgrade the infrastructure of Penza Region health resort facilities has been discussed by representatives of the Regional Government and foreign investors. The participants of the meeting have considered rehabilitation options for patents having a surgery in Israeli clinics as may be offered by Penza based health retreats and facilities located on the coast of the Black Sea. This is essentially about patents suffering from oncology diseases.

The investors have offered to discuss the project providing for infrastructural upgrades, installation of special medical equipment and use of telecommunications to provide follow-up care to patents who have had surgeries abroad.

Governor Ivan Belozertsev took a favorable view of the offer presented and expressed his positive opinion on potential cooperation under a public-private partnership initiative.

The Governor has issued an instruction to explore the matter in detail, determine cooperation conditions, prepare a business case and return with concise proposals.
