Ulyanovsk Region and Czech Republic agree to cooperate
An appropriate memorandum of close cooperation in trade, economic, scientific and technical areas has been signed by Governor Sergey Morozov and Czech Republic's Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek on the 23rd of March in the Czech Republic.
"...We hope this will result in the creation of joint ventures in such areas as aircraft engineering, machine-tool building, nuclear power and machine building. We have laid foundation for these efforts", Governor Sergey Morozov said.
According to the Region's Governor, another vital agreement for cooperation and representation of the Region in raising investments has been executed with EUROSTRA in the Czech Republic. The document is aimed at developing the Ulyanovsk Region's economic potential and improve its investment attractiveness. The Czech company will facilitate finding and attracting investors to establish production facilities in the Region. Furthermore, EUROSOTRA plans to open its own representative office in the Ulyanovsk Region.
