Governor Vyacheslav Shport of the Khabarovsk Territory has chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Board of Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Khabarovsk Territory Investments and Development Agency". The meeting discussed the Agency's performance in 2015 and outlined tasks for the forthcoming period.
The Agency's Director Vyacheslav Kushnarev delivered the main speech. He told that all efforts in the previous year were aimed to attract investors to plough into the region's economy and provide them with "one stop shop" support. In this area, 12 major projects that have actually attracted RUB 2.2 billion of investments have been supported. At year-end 2015, the Agency's "investment portfolio" included 50 projects. Its declared investments for 2015–2018 total RUB 67 billion.
The Agency's list of successful projects includes a greenhouse facility by Japanese JGC Corporation, Avangard Industrial Park, a turkey meat production and processing facility, creation of an industrial park based on the Khabarovsk Construction Ceramics Plant, Dobruinya Juice plant, construction of a sugar plant using Thailand investments, etc.
