The new facility will be capable of producing 280,000 tonnes of sunflower oil and 260,000 tonnes of oil seed meal p.a. To achieve these goals, Cargill will purchase 640,000 tonnes of seeds from local farmers annually.
The amount to be invested in the creation of the plant is estimated at US$250 million.
