Renova is ready to sell foreign partners a minority stake in Airports of Regions as it wants to attract more money to develop this business, according to Viktor Vekselberg, the owner of Renova Group.
Airports of Regions is Russia's leading airport group with Renova Group acting as its strategic investor. To date, the group comprises Koltsovo Airport (Yekaterinburg), Kurumoch International Airport (Samara), Nizhny Novgorod International Airport (Strigino) and Rostov-on-Don International Airport. At year-end 2014, the group's passenger traffic exceeded 10.3 passengers. Its management company is also implementing projects on constructing new airports such as Yuzhny (Rostov-on-Don) and Central (Saratov).
