FessoValves has entered into a contract with Paul Wurth, a Luxembourg company, to supply adjusting valves made in Italy to construct a new blast furnace gas treatment facility at NKML Group's Lipetsk industrial site.

FessoValves has entered into a contract with Paul Wurth, a Luxembourg company, to supply adjusting valves made in Italy to construct a new blast furnace gas treatment facility at NKML Group's Lipetsk industrial site.
The valves are manufactured in line with EU production and quality control standards such as NACEMR 01-75, ANSI, ASMEB16.34, PED, ATEX,ISO, EN. This upgrade will allow enhancing the efficiency of blast-furnace gas treatment 5 times and reduce the same figure of the Lipetsk site's entire blast-furnace process by more than 20%.
Novolipetsk Steel is NLMK Group's main production site. The facility is the core of NLMK Group's combined international production chain featuring assets in Russia, EU and USA. The Lipetsk site produces more than 12.5 million tonnes of steel p.a. which accounts for about 18% of all steel produced in Russia.
FessoValves is an integrated supplier of pipeline accessories, instruments and meters designed for construction, upgrading and reconstruction projects pertaining to petrochemical, oil refining, chemical, ship-building and general purpose industrial sectors. The company was founded in 1997.
Paul Wurth, whose foundation dates back to 1870 in Luxembourg, has developed into an international engineering company in recent decades.
