The subsidiary of the British company Lush is going to localize its production in Russia. Nowadays the company delivers the majority of its products from the UK and only 10% of its products are Russian-made.

The subsidiary of the British company Lush is going to localize its production in Russia. Nowadays the company delivers the majority of its products from the UK and only 10% of its products are Russian-made.


«Local production will result the 30% decrease in cost and increase our profit margin without changing the price», - the CEO and co-incorporator of Lush Russia Dmitriy Azarov said.


He confirmed that the plant with the production area of 2-3 thousands meters will be located in the Moscow region. The plant will supply only Russian-based shops with its products. In future, the company plans to establish itself as a hub for supplying the near-abroad countries.


Lush specializes in production of fresh handmade cosmetics. It was established in 1995 in Britain. Now more than 940 company shops are located in 50 countries all over the world. The Russian department was established in 2002. Now 54 Lush shops operate in Russia. In 2015, the sales of Lush Russia increased by 10% and reached $1.3 billion.
