Schülken Form GmbH, a German company, will open a plant that will make sophisticated plastic-molding dies in Khimgrad technopolis, Tatarstan, in 2017. An appropriate agreement has been signed today by Marco Schulken, the CEO of the German company, and Ayrat Gizzatullin, the General Director of Khimgrad. "My decision is predicated by the Republic of Tatarstan's investment climate. We have been supplying molding dies to Russia for more than 10 years. This is why I decided to open a facility in Russia as it is difficult to supply dies from Germany", Marco Schulken said. According to him, the company will manufacture in Kazan high-precision, very sophisticated and durable molding dies used in the production of healthcare products, packages, aviation and automotive items. "We plan to launch the facility in Tatarstan from 2017 onward", Mr. Schulken noted.

Khimgrad technopolis is Russia's first certified industrial park that was created in 2006 in Kazan to develop companies belonging to the fine chemical and polymer processing industries. The technopolis's total area is 131 hectares. At year-end 2015, technopolis residents' total revenues exceeded RUB 20.1 billion.
