Czech ambassador arrives at Voronezh to lay foundation stone for agricultural machinery factory
The Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Czech Republic in the Russian Federation arrived at Voronezh on the 19th of May. One of the key items in the Diplomat's programme is the symbolic laying of the foundation stone for a factory to be constructed in the Bobrovsky District. The enterprise is owned by AGROSTROY Pelhrimov, a Czech company. It will be devoted to manufacturing engineering products, assembling and varnishing agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles. The foundation stone will be laid on the 20th of May.
Vladimir Remek held a meeting with regional authorities in Voronezh. The parties discussed cooperation prospects and liaison in connection with the construction of the factory and its further development. The Press Office of the Voronezh Region's Government has reported that the authorities have promised to provide the Czech partners with necessary support.
Vladmir Remek has also visited the Voronezh State University. He familiarized himself with the University's operations. After that, the Czech Ambassador voiced his proposals for cooperation between the Republic and the University in higher education.
