The module as such will be manufactured in Yekaterinburg with a compressing block being delivered by an Italian company.

A mini-plant capable of liquefying natural gas will be constructed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The module-type plant is proposed to be erected at a 8-hectare site located 200 meters away from Dalneye gas distribution station situated in close vicinity to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The module as such will be manufactured in Yekaterinburg with a compressing block being delivered by an Italian company.
SAKHALIN Production & Construction Company, the project owner, expects to receive first gas supplies in August-September 2017. The cost of the entire project will be about RUB 1 billion. The project will be partially financed by the Sakhalin Region Development Corporation with the latter intending to invest RUB 750 million in the construction.
The project also provides for the construction of a network of mobile gas-filling stations which will essentially be a vehicle comprising a compressing block and mobile filling truck.
The project will afford urban motor-vehicle transport and public utility companies an opportunity to switch over to a cheaper fuel and to reduce prices. This will also have a favorable effect on environment.
