Teva to double medicines production at its Yaroslavl-based plant

Pharmaceutical company called Teva intends to double its output of medicines in the Yaroslavl Region. Appropriate negotiations have been held between the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region and Anna Yarvits, the General Director of LLC Teva, according to the Regional Government's home page.

Pharmaceutical company called Teva intends to double its output of medicines in the Yaroslavl Region. Appropriate negotiations have been held between the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region and Anna Yarvits, the General Director of LLC Teva, according to the Regional Government's home page.

Ms. Yarvits announced the company's plans to have its Yaroslavl-based facility's output doubled as early as by the end of 2016.

"Pharmaceutics is a sector being vital for the Region's budget and economy. The personnel training system and infrastructure featured by the Region facilitate the development of pharmaceutical enterprises. Interest expressed in our pharmaceutical cluster by potential investors is another proof attesting to the fact that the Yaroslavl Region is one of flagship regions in terms of national pharmaceutics", the Governor noted.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is an international pharmaceutical company having its headquarters in Israel. It is the largest manufacturer of generic pharma products. The company's research and production base comprises 44 plants manufacturing finished pharmaceutical forms, 18 facilities producing chemical substances and 15 research centers.
