A Chinese investor intends to implement a major Siberian agricultural project to be called Pervomayskoye Agricomplex. The facility will be hosted by Berezovka village, Pervomaysky District, Tomsk Region.


The 2,5 thousand cows dairy farm requires RUB 3 billion of investments, according to Interfax Siberia referencing data published by the Region's Agrarian Center. The Agrarian Center did not name the company.


More than RUB 17 billion is expected to have been invested into the Region's agribusiness industry by 2020 of which more than RUB 3 million will be devoted to the Pervomaysky District's agriculture. Agricultural companies are proceeding to the implementation of two investment projects for a total of RUB 35 million based on peasant farms with another three projects contemplating investments of some RUB 3 billion.


The investor is searching plots to be used as construction sites. Design and estimate documentation will be developed until late 2016.
