Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy has held a working meeting with representatives of the company LLC Roztekh concerning opening of a new sewing production in Smolensk region.

We will note that the garment factory of the company where about 400 people work, has already worked in Gagarin. In the closest plans of the investor owning the known brand «Wild Orchid», is further expansion of production in the territory of the region. It is about the construction of the second factory which will be placed in Roslavlskiy district. Thanks to opening of the new enterprise over hundred new workplaces will be created there. It is supposed that the factory will begin its work in the 4th quarter of this year.

With assistance of Alexey Ostrovskiy within the Cooperation Agreement between Administration of Smolensk region and Fund for Development of Industry which has been signed in February of this year. The target loan at the rate of 5% per annum will be provided to the enterprise.

Sergey Fateev, one of the owners of the company, has emphasized that the agreement with Fund and a position of the head of the region in questions of rendering assistance to investors is very positively reflected on rates of development of the enterprise. Also the head of the company has asked the help of the head of the region in the solution of a personnel issue.

The Governor has charged to the Director of the Department for investment development Rostislav Rovbel together with the heads of municipalities and the Department for education, science and affairs of youth to examine in detail the project of creation of the all-regional profile educational institution preparing personnel for garment manufactures of the region.

During discussion the Governor has brought up such important question as salary level as often arrival of foreign and capital companies to regions is caused by desire to keep costs down for labor compensation. The investors have emphasized that the management of the company tries to hold a salary at the level of the Moscow and Leningrad regions that allows to hold professionals.

During the working meeting its participants have discussed prospects for development of other directions of business of the company Roztekh in the territory of the region. So, by 2018 the investor plans to open the Order fulfillment center of a city format of the national Internet retailer «Yulmart» which will be focused on Smolensk region. The area of the new center will make about 45 thousand sq m, and quantity of the provided workplaces is about 800 people.

In addition, the management of the company considers opening option of a network of the small wholesale centers «Ryady» in Smolensk region which will offer production of exclusively domestic production. At the moment this network is represented in Moscow and Leningrad regions and realizes about 4 thousand product names which are made in the territory of Russia.

LLC RozTekh is the largest Russian operator on sale and production of female underwear, swimming suits, beachwear and house clothes. The company consists of retail network «Wild Orchid» - a premium segment, retail network «Bustier» - an average segment, retail network «Defile» - a massmarket, retail network «Grand Defile» - a new format, a design bureau «Defile» and two factories, one of which is located in Gagarin. Products of the company are on the market in 29 cities of Russia.
