Indian investors interested in Yugra industrial sites
The day before, Governor Alexey Zabozlayev of Yugra held a working meeting involving the management of Gadgil Holdings Pvt. Ltd., an Indian group, and the Indian-Russian Business and Trade Development Facilitation Chamber.
The visit of representatives of Indian businesses took place based on agreements reached at Innoprom 2016 international industrial exhibition, where Alexey Gennadyevich held business negotiations with the Chief Minister of the Maharashtra State, Republic of India.
Sunil Kumar Jain, the CFO of Gadgil Holdings Pvt. Ltd., Dubei Prabhat Ranjan and Sunil Kumar Jain, Directors of the Indian-Russian Chamber, were presented investment areas for developing the Yugra Wood and Paper Group, projects on creating a mining cluster in the Berezovsky District, a basalt fiber factory, OJSC Polar Quartz (facility producing extra pure grade quartz concentrate) in Nyagan and a 5 ktpa sphagnum moss processing facility in the Kondinsky District.
Industrial sites being ready for implementing investment projects in Nefteyugansk, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, the Surgut and Oktyabrsky Districts were demonstrated to the guests. The sites are specifically designed to accommodate projects pertaining to metallurgy, metal processing, wood processing, chemical, food, furniture and hi-tech facilities.
Promising territories, on which industrial parks are now being created in Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, the Surgut and Sovetsky Regions, were also demonstrated. Today, their investment requirement exceeds RUB 6.5 billion.
In the course of their visit to the autonomous district, the Indian businessmen visited sites located in Nefteyugansk, Surgut and Solnechny village of the Surgut District. Sunil Kumar Jain noted that industrial park site development projects, creation of the facility to produce extra pure grade quartz concentrate and sphagnum moss processing facility sparked the greatest interest on the part of Gadgil Holdings Pvt. Ltd. in terms of potential cooperation. The meeting resulted in the establishment of a devoted team that would regularly go through investment opportunities for these projects.
