A joint Russian-Chinese facility manufacturing polymer coatings for galvanized sheets has been launched in the Dzerzhinsk District. The amount invested in the international project totaled RUB 1.8 bln.
The facility has already received a lot of orders with more than 100 galvanized steel sheets contracts having been executed to date. Moreover, the plant has proceeded to producing raw materials for metal shingles, sandwich panels, sidings and corrugated sheet.
The capacity of the greenfield Russian-Chinese facility is estimated to be 120 ktpa.
