This has been reported by temporary acting Chairman of the Regional Government Anton Alikhanov after a meeting held with a delegation from Schleswig-Holstein on the 16th of September.
"There is a company that wishes to rent 10 hectares and deal with agriculture growing wheat featuring primarily export potential. It is clear that this year is not going to be very good as regards wheat quality. But the last year showed that we had huge export potential and, properly speaking, the German colleagues are eager to enter the wheat market," Mr. Alikhanov said.
He added that the regional government was interested in strengthening partnership relations with Germany, including Schleswig-Holstein federal land.
"We are connected by 17 years' friendship. This cooperation involves active interaction between educational institutions as well as youth and cultural exchanges," Mr. Alikhanov told.
