Far East Development Corporation has received three applications seeking the status of resident in such new areas of the Free Port as the Vanino District (Khabarovsk Territory), Korsakov Urban District (Sakhalin Region) and Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky.

Far East Development Corporation has received three applications seeking the status of resident in such new areas of the Free Port as the Vanino District (Khabarovsk Territory), Korsakov Urban District (Sakhalin Region) and Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky. The total amount declared to be invested is RUB 31.7 billion.


JSC Prime as investor intends to construct in Vanino Port a terminal designed to transship liquefied hydrocarbon gases from railway tanks, temporary store and load the same to sea LNG carriers for export operations. The design capacity of the terminal is going to be up to 2 mtpa.


In the Sakhalin Region, South Terminal is going to implement a project designed to arrange an integrated fish logistic and processing complex based on Korsakov Port.


As to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, LLC Novy Dom intends to build a hotel featuring 140 guest rooms of various classes. The hotel is going to be built on the shore of the Kultuchnoye Lake.


From July this year, the operational mode of Vladivostok Free Port extended to the following 4 key Far East harbors: Vanino District (Khabarovsk Territory), Korsakov Urban District (Sakhalin Region), Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky (Kamchatka Territory) and Pevek (Chukotka Autonomous District).
