The office of Dagestan's permanent mission to the President of Russia has hosted a meeting attended by the representatives of the Chinese business community, including Kenny Song, the Chairman of the Management Board of Touchstone Financial Group Holding Limited.


In the course of the meeting, Yusup Umavov, Dagestan's Minister of Industry and Trade, told about investment opportunities associated with the real sector of the region's economy and major infrastructural projects. As reported by the Moscow Press Office of Dagestan's Permanent Mission, the Chinese party has expressed its willingness to consider the proposals put forward by the Dagestan delegation. The meeting resulted in the parties executing a memorandum of cooperation.


The memorandum contemplates that Dagestan's Ministry of Industry and Trade will assist the Chinese party in implementing investment project and provide governmental support.
