Zavolzhiye industrial park situated in the Ulyanovsk Region is going to host another production facility owned by Legrand, a French company.
Appropriate agreements were reached at the International Investment Forum between the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region, Region Development Corporation and Legrand Group.
The investor is going to construct its second plant to manufacture low-voltage switching equipment in the territory of Zavolzhiye Industrial Park. The total amount to be invested into the project is approximately RUB 1 billion. The new facility is planned to be commissioned until the end of 2018.
In April 2014, Legrand launched its Region's first facility to manufacture low-voltage switching equipment in Zavolzhiye industrial area. The company manufactures electric devices, plastic cable channels, metal and wire-mesh cable trays, circuit breakers, transformers and other products.
