A delegation from the Czech Republic comprising representatives of government authorities and executives of companies is currently visiting Bashkiria for business purposes.

Business cooperation between the business communities of the Czech Republic and Bashkiria was established long ago according to Irek Mukhametdinov, the Prime Minister of the Government: "It is very remarkable that such high-profile Czech delegation arrived today. Its members include representatives of businesses, an Ambassador Plenipotentiary, a Deputy Minister of Agriculture and representatives of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I think this attests to the level of importance and attention paid today by the Czech Government to the potential development of our relations. We are also open by all means and we are especially interested in the agricultural sector. There have already been some joint efforts devoted to this area. In particular, we purchased equipment for commercial dairy farms. I believe that this is one of the areas that can be restored very quickly. We can perfectly develop in this field because we are a dairy region."

There is a Czech Business Center in Ufa which officially represents Czech government and commercial schools and training centers. Four companies featuring Czech equity and one representative office of a Czech company are registered in Bashkiria.
