Bionorica promises to launch pharmaceutical factory in Voronezh Region in 2018
According to the regional government, Michael Popp, the Chairman of the Management Board of Bionorica SE, has promised at a meeting held with Governor Alexey Gordeyev of the Voronezh Region to launch a pharmaceutical factory on the site of IP Maslovsky in 2018.
Mr.Popp is quoted as saying that "the work on the project is ongoing as planned" – an appropriate construction permit will be obtained until the end of 2016 and the company is going to proceed to the construction of the facility in 2017.
The factory will be capable of producing 120 million blister packs per annum and its capacity will have been boosted up to 200 million blister packs by 2020. Investments total RUB 2.5 billion.
The project envisages the construction of the factory that will manufacture medical preparations through the extraction of required components from medicinal herbs with an option to grow such herbs in the Voronezh Region being explored.
