Businessmen from Finland intend to cooperate with Omsk in timber processing and fishing

On the 25th of October, the Omsk Region Ministry of Economy hosted a meeting held between regional ministers and a delegation from Finland headed by Tapani Koivula, a founder and the CEO of General Finland Association.

On the 25th of October, the Omsk Region Ministry of Economy hosted a meeting held between regional ministers and a delegation from Finland headed by Tapani Koivula, a founder and the CEO of General Finland Association. The Association unites Finnish small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to the industrial sector.


On the 24th of October, the guests visited Omsk Experimental Plant, LLC Tavrichesky Complex and LLC Prodex-Omsk.


Minister of Economy Oxana Fadina described the manufacturing of high-technology products, timber processing industry and tourism as promising areas.


Chairman of the Board of Directors of LLC Titan-Agro Yury Sutyaginsky presented Titan Group's Biocomplex, an investment project devoted to deep grain processing.


The Association's founder Tapani Koivula noted that the Finns were interested in creating joint venture for timber processing and fishing activities.
