The Kaluga Pharmaceutical Cluster has executed a cooperation agreement with C.H.I.C.O., an Italian major cluster.


The agreement was signed during the annual Russian-Italy partnering forum called "Meet in Italy for Life Sciences".


The agreement was signed by Irina Novikova, the Executive Director of the Kaluga Pharmaceutical Cluster, on behalf of the Russian party, and by Fabio Miralia, the CEO of C.H.I.C.O. cluster, on behalf of the Italian party.


The executed agreement provides for cooperation in a number of priority areas being ordinary for clusters, such as: technology development and production of original pharmaceutical substances; licensing and production of finished dosage forms; utilization (processing) of pharmaceutical products.


The agreement will be implemented, among other things, through the exchange of best practices and participation in joint economic development projects.


C.H.I.CO. (Cluster of Health, Innovation and Community), the first healthcare cluster of Lazio (Italy) and a non-profit organization devoted to life science and healthcare uniting about 100 members.
