Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has discussed potential cooperation with representatives of French companies. The meetings were held in the building of the Association of French Enterprises (MEDEF) in Paris.

For instance, options for the potential construction of Volga Discoveries, a facility thematic entertainment park to be erected in the Verkhneuslonsky District, were discussed with the management of HEFI Development.

Servie was the next with key areas for potential cooperations being prevention and control of infective diseases, development and joint implementation of informative and educational projects and programmes to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases.

Representatives of Sanofi discussed potential production localization options considering available sites in the Republic of Tatarstan. Sanofi is a French multinational medical and pharmaceutic company. President Minnikhanov invited the representatives of the companies to visit Kazan to consider cooperation opportunities and arrangement of medicinal production facilities.

Furthermore, meetings took place with several French companies interested also in developing business in Tatarstan. More specifically, one of the companies expressed its wish to consider localization options for manufacturing oil and gas equipment. Rustam Minnikhanov offered the representatives of the companies to hold presentations to demonstrate their capabilities and technology at the next meeting of the Board of Directors of OJSC Tatneftekhiminvest Holding.
