Ivanovo facility signs equipment supply contract in Germany
According to Governor Pavel Konkov of the Ivanovo Region, a contract was executed on December 01 in Essen (Germany) for equipment delivery, installation supervision and aftersale service between Ivanovo Polyether Complex and Uhde Inventa-Fischer GmbH, the general supplier and a member of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions AG.
The contract provides for the delivery of up-to-date advanced technology equipment to produce polyether artificial wool using the direct PET melt moulding technology by such leading global licensors as Uhde Inventa-Fischer GmbH (Germany) and Oerlikon Neumag (Germany). The execution of the contract was preceded by multi-round negotiations and tests to confirm required guaranteed performance and quality figures. Indicative technical conditions to the contract were signed and financing conditions were signed off. Earlier, JSC IPC executed a main contract with UNISTAV CONSTRUCTION a.s (Czech Republic) providing for the development of working documentation, delivery of auxiliary equipment, assembly, installation and startup operations.
The signing ceremony was attended by such top officials of ThyssenKrupp AG as Johan Cnossen, Stephen Gessing, Werner Steinauer and Jens Belmann, the Chief of the Department for Mid-Sized Business in Russia, Eastern Committee of German Economy.
