This happened the day before, at a meeting held with Governor Rustem Khamitov of Bashkiria. "If we met earlier we would construct the plant right here, in Ufa," he said to the Governor of the Region.
At the same time, the idea of constructing a meat processing plant in Bashkiria is going to be ultimately implemented. For this purpose, the parties signed a Cooperation Memorandum providing for the construction of seven feeding stations (feed lots) for breeding cattle stock in the Republic in 2017-2018. The sites are large with each being able to accommodate a 3,000 herd.
As Luigi Cremonini noted, he would revert to the construction of the large-scale meat processing plant in Bashkiria in year or two, when he visits the Republic once again.
