Swedish businessman to offer jobs to Chuvash students

The Chuvash State Agricultural Academy has been visited by investors from Sweden who launched a business in Chuvashia. The parties have reached agreement to provide the Academy's students with jobs to undertake internships and apprenticeships at foreign company LLC Kennet and do agriculture related researches.

Kenner has been growing wheat, rape and barley in the Shumerlinsky and Alikovsky areas since 2013. Today, more than 2 hectares of predominantly fallow lands are involved in the company's farming operations in two areas of Chuvashia.

Using up-to-date machinery and cereal and leguminous crop growing technology, the Swedes intend to achieve a yield of up to 40 centners per hectare as early as next year.

Third-year students from Chuvash SAA will undertake internships and undergraduates will undertake apprenticeships at Kennet. Its production department expects to take in the young people as early as this spring. It cannot be ruled out that young specialists who elect to work at LLC Kennet will be able to undertake an internship in Sweden in just a year or two, according to the Academy.
