The first year of expanded CLASS factory's operation in the Krasnodar Territory has ended with the 1.5 times growth of harvesters and 1/3 growth of tractors.

The project on expanding CLASS factory manufacturing agricultural machinery based in the Krasnodar Territory is among the 5 winners of gold medals awarded at German Project Excellence Award 2016, the 33rd international project management forum.

Currently, CLAAS factory manufactures 9 models of TUCANO and LEXION grain harvesters and 9 models of AXION, ARION and XERION field engines. The Krasnodar based factory has become one of leading component suppliers for EU enterprises manufacturing CLAAS machinery.

It has been operating in Russia since 1992. It started manufacturing grain harvesters in Russia in 2003. The Krasnodar-based facility currently manufactures ten models of grain combine harvesters and eight models of tractors. The facility's second production string was launched back in 2015. The sale of the machinery is arranged via LLC Claas Vostok in Moscow and involves 19 sale partners operating on a Russia-wide basis.
