The Cuban and Japan have discussed cooperation in agroindustry
Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory, Svetlana Kovalyeva met with the representatives of the Japanese Yamaguchi Prefecture Administration.
The Parties discussed perspective cooperation in agro-industrial complex (AIC). Kovaleva told her Japanese colleagues about the development of the AIC in the region and the priority guidelines.
“At the moment the development of the processing industry is among the key priorities for our regional agriculture. Therefore we are very much interested in purchasing the equipment for processing facilities, implementation of new innovation technologies into the production processes. Ministry of Agriculture is open for any dialogue” – said deputy Minister.
She stressed that the Cuban is happy to meet new foreign investors and ready to offer for implementation perspective and favorable projects.
The delegates told about the scientific potential of AIC in Japan and expressed their commitment to supply their products to the region.
After the meeting the parties exchanged their contact details and agreed to develop possible ways of cooperation in more details.
