The Kaliningrad Region Government has discussed cooperation with Catalonia, a Spanish Province. A delegation from Spain is headed by Damia Calven, the CEO of INCASÒL, the Catalonia Land Relations Institute.

Catalonia's representatives discussed mutual cooperation and development of the territories with Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov, acting Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government.

The meeting resulted in the signing of memorandums of intent between JSC Kaliningrad Region Development Cooperation, INCASÒL and CIMALSA (Catalonia). Damia Calvet emphasized that the execution of the agreement triggered cooperation between Catalonia and the Kaliningrad Region.

CIMALSA deals with the promotion and development of transport logistics and infrastructure management centers. Like CIMALSA, Catalonia Land Relations Institute INCASOL is an open joint-stock company owned by Catalonia Government. The organization's operations focus on industrial and production lands as well as on logistic projects.
