According to the Federal Custom Service, for seven months of 2018 Russia’s foreign trade turnover has increased by 21.7% compared to January-July of 2017 and amounted to $386.1 bn.
Russia’s import has amounted to $136.9 bn, it is a 11.8% annualized growth. The main share of import (46.8%) has been constituted by machinery and equipment (-0.6% compared to January-July of 2017). It is reported that for this period import of food products and food raw materials has decreased to 12.7% compared to 13.2% in January-July of 2017.For seven months of 2018 the main trade partners of Russia among the far-abroad countries have been China, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, Italy, the USA, the Republic of Korea, Poland, Japan and France. As for CIS countries, the main trade partners have been Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
