Russia-Hungary Trade Turnover Increased By 30%

According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, trade between the two countries grew by 30% to $5.5 bn in 2017. Relations have seen a marked progress in finance, agriculture, health care and energy. Hungary will buy 4.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia in 2019. “We are now working towards an agreement for 2020, to ensure the gas supply of the Hungarian industry and people,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said.
