The Russian authorities should legislatively determine the procedure to certify Russian exporters of agricultural products, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
According to him, the inclusion of the enterprise in the register of exporters will mean that its products are controlled by the importing country.
Speaking at a meeting on quality control of agricultural exports, Medvedev said:
"We need to legislatively regulate the mechanism for certification of Russian exporting enterprises. When exporting goods that are subject to state veterinary supervision, one must comply with veterinary requirements of the importing country," he saidSource:†www.tass.com
