Russia’s Antibiotics Import Significantly Exceeded Its Export

For 11 months of 2018 Russia imported antibiotics for the total amount of $113.2 mln (-1%).

Russia’s antibiotics import was 33 times as much as its export ($3.4 mln.) that reduced by 8% compared to the same period of 2017.

China became the largest antibiotics supplier to Russia (62.8%). Top 5 suppliers also included the Republic of Korea (12%), Singapore (9%), India (5.3%) and Bulgaria (2.7%).

Russia exported antibiotics to 9 countries, namely Belarus (82.5%), Kazakhstan (7.9%), China (2.8%), Ukraine (2.2%), Kyrgyzstan (1.9%), Serbia (1.4%), Estonia (0.5%), Uzbekistan (0.5%) and Armenia (0.3%).
